Ally Sheedy lookalike Jennifer Elster tuns in a predictable vanity picture, a movie about an emotionally messed-up artist who is coping with a dying father while romancing a germophobic loser. While we approach her Big Show, she spirals into the kind of hullicinations that we only see in movies like this: poorly photographed, time-twisted, and completely baffling. Ultimately it's all nonsense, despite some interesting performances from supporting players.
