Desperate for information about the pioneering legend behind Mickey Mouse and a whole boatload of classic animated characters? Well, Walt: The Man Behind the Myth will give you all the details, presented in an almost clinical style which Walt Disney would likely have abhorred.

Of course, it's all sanitized and whitewashed for your protection, giving us none of the controversy but all of The Great Things That Disney Has Done. But what were you expecting: It's produced by Disney! The later years, when Disney became bored with movies and started work on his theme parks and other non-media projects, are worth watching, as is the hint of his mean streak with his testimony during the Red Scare, but overall this is a tedious documentary, really only for hardcore film historian types. You know, both of you.
