Painfully ill-advised Holocaust dramedy has Robin Williams trying to play a Nazi-era Jew who tries to cheer up his fellow ghetto-dwellers despite the terrors of Nazi occupation. His method: pretending he has a (very illegal) radio, with news of the Russians coming to save them all. Not funny, not touching, not entertaining. The very few bright spots don't make up for the pain that pales in comparison to a film like Life is Beautiful.
