Surprisingly, this sequel to the atrocious Bounty Hunters is not nearly as bad as the original, thanks to a campy performance by Curtis as a bad guy/mafioso-type while our heroes, Michael Dudikoff and Lisa Howard, try to outwit his thugs. Plenty of corny one-liners and a fair amount of gratutious, almost nonsensical nudity bring Bounty Hunters 2 up to a just bad (and not awful) level. What makes this series so unwatchable, sadly, is the crummy action -- Dudikoff and Howard are invincible, despite being blown up, run down, and beaten senseless, they never even earn a scratch. The fact that the cops are never, ever around for these explosions, hit-and-runs, and brutalities just makes things ridiculous.
