While the film often draws comparisons to A Clockwork Orange, Romper Stomper doesn't carry the gravity that the Malcolm McDowell classic does. Notable largely for its pre-fame star, Russell Crowe, Romper Stomper tells the story of a gang of Australian skinheads upset with Asian immigration into their neighborhood. After a particularly gruesome showdown with the newcomers, the skinheads soon find themselves on the run from the law, and infighting ensues.
