Those who call Bare Behind Bars 'borderline porn' have it all wrong. This is full-on porn, all the way. There's no art to the film, a successor to Ilsa, Harem Keeper of the Oil Shieks, though it offers a bare-bones story about a women's prison where shankings are a daily occurance, but only slightly less common than the guards (all female, of course) raping the inmates. No one here is in their uniform for long, at least not until a trio of prisoners make an escape and continue their wilding ways. Produced in Brazil and dubbed into English, the film is a low-budget affair all the way, with nary a penny spent on shaving equipment for any of the hirsute cast.
