Not really my favorite of W.C. Fields' many great films, namely because this one doesn't really have much of a story to it. Rather, Fields plays himself, pitching a big movie studio his great idea for a script: An absurd farce that starts with a man falling from an airplane 10,000 feet and having his fall broken by a couch in a mystical mountain colony where they don't know how to kiss. Basically it's a platform for Fields to crack wise, and some of his lines are gems, but they're obscured by a really obtuse plot.
