Vampire Hunter D

A film review by Christopher Null - Copyright © 2004 Filmcritic.com

Decidedly not-bad anime, as a half-man/half-vampire hunts down the evil vampires plaguing his far-future society. Filled with adult themes, swooping swordfights, and gory vampire thrills, this is one of the best anime films to come out of the often rough-and-unfinished 1980s era -- and, in a rare switch, it actually has a plot you can make sense out of.
