The wicked stepmother is a character as old as time. But even more recently, we find kids still can't get along with their surrogate moms in the horror flick The Uninvited (2009) and the romantic fluff of Ever After (1999). With The Stepfather now in theaters, the question arises: Is having an evil stepfather even worse? Which stepparent is more likely to give you the willies? A stepfather or a stepmother?
