Fans of AMC's Mad Men and Breaking Bad were likely pleased by Sunday night's 61st annual
Primetime Emmy Awards. It was a night filled with repeat wins: Mad
Men took the award for Outstanding Drama Series for the second
year in a row, and the show also won Outstanding Writing in a Drama
Series again -- an honor creator Matthew Weiner shared with Kater
Gordon. Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston too took the Outstanding Lead
Actor in a Drama Series trophy (another consecutive win).
Neil Patrick Harris proved to be a nimble host,
whether begging the audience not to touch the remote during an opening
musical number or joking about his loss to Two and Half Men's
Jon Cryer in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series
category.
