• Warner Bros. is developing a Lego movie. The film will be a hybrid of live-action and CG. It'll take some serious filmmaking wizardry to put expressions on those little yellow faces.

• The directors of The Blair Witch Project discussed possibilities for a third outing. How about trying to find the actors from the first movie? No one has heard from them since about 2001.

Hollywood studios have won a court battle with the makers of RealDVD, preventing consumers from copying DVDs to their computers. Now how about a law against the guy next to us on the bus watching I Love You, Man on his iPhone with the volume at full blast?

• Disney and writer/director David Mamet are teaming up for a new big screen version of The Diary of Anne Frank.

• Ed Helms has signed on to the comedy Central Intelligence. Helms plays an unassuming, buttoned-up guy who gets embroiled in international espionage. It's The Office meets Jumpin' Jack Flash.

• A private funeral for writer/director John Hughes was held in Chicago. Ferris Bueller stars Matthew Broderick and Ben Stein were in attendance.
