Russell Crowe will star in The Next Three Days for director Paul Haggis (Crash).

• Sony is developing the video game movie inFamous, about a bike messenger with amazing electrical powers. Yet he still can't seem to get his deliveries in on time.

• The first trailer for A Serious Man from the Coen brothers has been released. First good sign? The biggest star is Adam Arkin.

• Ron Howard is tackling Robert Ludlum's spy thriller The Parsifal Mosaic. Would it have killed Ludlum to have occasionally gone for a simpler title? "I Spy" perhaps?

• Steven Spielberg might bring the super spy Matt Helm to the big screen. The character has appeared in novels by Donald Hamilton and some extremely dated Dean Martin movies.

Rachelle Lefevre claims she is "stunned" by Summit Entertainment replacing her with Bryce Dallas Howard in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. If Howard suddenly goes missing, blame the crazy Twilight fans.
