• 20th Century Fox has postponed the opening of X-Men Origins: Wolverine in Mexico City due to the recent swine flu outbreak. Piracy, sudden flu epidemics. This movie can't catch a break.

• Russell Brand is set to star in Universal's remake of the Phoebe Cates classic (?) Drop Dead Fred. Brand will be taking over the role of, uh, whoever played Drop Dead Fred.

• The first images of Megan Fox in Jonah Hex have the Internet all a-twitter. As in, everyone's posting the pictures on Twitter.

• Remake-happy Universal is also planning a redo of David Cronenberg's cult classic Videodrome.

• Amanda Peet is joining the cast of the Jack Black-fronted Gulliver's Travels. Which is great news for anyone dying for a Saving Silverman reunion. Now where's Steve Zahn?

• Two of Hollywood's biggest talent agencies, William Morris Agency and Endeavor, have merged.
